Peter KaneHaving practised as both a solicitor and chartered accountant, Peter has a unique mix of skills gained over many years as a specialist tax consultant. These enable him to provide expert advice and assistance, efficiently covering all relevant aspects including arranging any necessary documentation to implement his advice.

Peter originally trained with Deloitte in Brisbane, commencing law school during the course of his postgraduate studies for admission as a chartered accountant. He was subsequently admitted as both a chartered accountant and a solicitor, and maintains those dual professional qualifications.

Peter's career experience includes practice in Hong Kong with PwC and lecturing in both taxation law and company law at QUT. He has practised with Tax Strategies as a specialist consultant for over 20 years.

Outside of professional activities and study of the law, Peter's favourite pastime is simply to relax with family and friends. Plus travel to new places and also to indulge his passion for music – including playing guitar and attending concerts (a very broad range from the classical composers to current popular styles).
